1. About Maya3D.Store
Maya3D.Store offers personalized 3D-printed products, including name necklaces, keychains, baby name keepsakes, LED signs, and other customized 3D products. These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through the Maya3D.Store online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
2. Products and Materials
Our products are manufactured using 3D printing technology. We primarily use PLA (Polylactic Acid) filament, a thermoplastic material commonly used in 3D printing.
Please note the following characteristics of PLA products:
- Layer lines: Small visible lines or surface variations may occur as a normal result of the 3D printing process.
- Color variations: Actual colors may differ slightly from the colors displayed on your screen.
- Heat sensitivity: PLA can soften or deform when exposed to high temperatures. Avoid leaving products in hot cars, near heaters, or in direct heat.
- Care: Handle products carefully and clean them gently with a soft cloth when appropriate.
- Intended use: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our 3D-printed products are intended for decorative or general-purpose use and are not certified as food-safe, medical devices, or toys.
- Biodegradability: PLA is not automatically biodegradable in ordinary home or outdoor conditions.
3. Personalized and Custom-Made Products
Some Maya3D.Store products are personalized according to information supplied by the customer, such as names, letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and other design choices. Customers are responsible for checking the spelling, names, dates, numbers, colors, and other details entered when placing an order.
Products are manufactured according to the information and options submitted with the order. Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error in your order. Once production has started, changes may no longer be possible. Customization does not remove your statutory rights if a product is faulty, defective, or does not conform to the order.
4. Custom 3D Product Requests
For products submitted through our Custom 3D Product request form, Maya3D.Store may need to review the requested design before accepting the order. Submitting a request does not necessarily mean that the design has been approved or that production has started. We may contact you to clarify the design, confirm feasibility, and communicate any additional costs before proceeding.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices and applicable taxes are displayed at checkout according to the store’s settings and the customer’s location. Available payment methods are displayed during checkout. An order is subject to successful payment and any required design approval. If a pricing or technical error occurs, we will contact the customer to resolve the issue in accordance with applicable law.
6. Production and Delivery
Production times may vary depending on the product, level of personalization, and order volume. Estimated production and delivery times are not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Shipping methods, delivery costs, and available destinations are displayed during checkout.
Once an order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided when available. Maya3D.Store is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, without affecting any rights the customer has under applicable law.
7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
For eligible online purchases by consumers, a statutory withdrawal period of generally 14 days may apply to standard (non-personalized) products, subject to applicable law.
However, please note that personalized and custom-made products are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal. Once production has begun or a product has been customized (e.g., adding a specific name, date, color, or design), it cannot be returned or exchanged, as it is uniquely made for you and cannot be resold. This is in full compliance with applicable consumer laws.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory right to complain about faulty or defective items as outlined in Section 8.
8. Faulty or Incorrect Products
If a product arrives damaged, is defective, or differs from what was ordered, please contact Maya3D.Store with your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs may help us assess the problem. We will handle complaints in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Consumers generally have statutory rights to complain about defects in accordance with applicable local laws. The remedies available depend on the circumstances and the law applicable in the customer’s jurisdiction. A personalized product is not excluded from these statutory rights merely because it was made to order.
9. Product Safety and Care
PLA products should be kept away from excessive heat and used only for their intended purpose. Unless specifically confirmed for a particular product, do not use our products for direct food contact, medical purposes, or other applications requiring safety certification. Keep small items and detachable components away from young children where they could present a choking hazard. Customers should follow any product-specific care or safety instructions provided with their purchase.
10. Customer-Provided Information and Designs
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the text, names, images, logos, and designs they submit may lawfully be used for their requested products. Customers must not submit material that infringes another person’s intellectual property rights or violates applicable law. Maya3D.Store may decline a request where production is not feasible or the requested content cannot reasonably be accepted.
11. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Please consult the Privacy Policy for information about how personal data is collected, used, and protected.
12. Changes to These Terms
Maya3D.Store may update these Terms and Conditions when necessary. The version applicable to an order will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the purchase.
13. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction where Maya3D.Store operates, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protections available to them under applicable consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
